We are so excited to announce that we are putting together a new TBI survivor anthology series, Not Invisible: Putting a Face on Brain Injury, due out early 2025 in time for Brain Injury Awareness Month (March).
We are looking for contributors who would like to be a part of the book by sharing their story (up to 1000 words).
DETAILS:
– Cost is $95 per contributor to participate, and includes 6 copies of the book which you may keep, give away, or sell ($20 retail price).
– You will submit payment and a consent form below to participate by 11/15/24
– We only have room for 50 contributors, so ACT FAST to reserve your spot!
– You will submit your 1000 word story by 12/15/24. It will then go to our Editor who will clean up any grammar etc.
– Your proof will be ready in January for your review
– We will run a Kickstarter in late February to raise funds for production of the book by offering the book for pre-sale ($20).
– We will host a zoom launch party the first week of March to celebrate the book, all contributors will be encouraged to attend, and invite their friends and family to join in on the celebration.
– We will provide you with graphics to share on social media/email and build excitement around the release of the book
– Printed books should arrive late-March for distribution and will be mailed to you
– Contributors will be able to purchase additional books at cost ($10) for the period of one year after the book is published.
– PLEASE NOTE: if you live outside the US there will be an additional shipping charge of $40 that will be collected at time of shipping the books to you. This is simply to cover the additional international shipping costs.

NO REFUNDS … once you have committed to being a part of the book, no refunds will be given – no exceptions. If you do not meet the deadlines above, your story will not be able to be included (with NO refund of your money). So please be sure you are willing to commit to the timeline. We will send plenty of reminder emails to help keep you on track.
